Hi, I’m Charlene – full-time pet care provider and proud dog mom to my sassy assistants Porsche and Penny (see photo below). Based in Toronto’s Runnymede/Baby Point neighbourhood, I offer personalized, professional dog walking and pet sitting services with a focus on safety, comfort, and tail-wagging happiness.

• Over 10 years of animal care experience

• Former staff at: Toronto Humane Society, Etobicoke Humane Society and Tails and Scales

• Started on Rover in 2018, now fully licensed and insured as Happy Humber Hounds

        Home-Based Comfort

• This is my full-time home business and passion

• Dogs are supervised all day (with brief absences for walks or errands)

• Safety first: dogs are separated as needed using crates, playpens/kennels, or gates

• Apartment set up to host up to 6 dogs (including my own), with careful attention to size and energy levels

  Safe, Enriching Environment

• Dogs are fed separately and have space to play, rest, and relax

• Sleeping arrangements tailored to your dog’s needs: Dog beds, kennels, playpens, or our couch!

• Fenced patio for fresh air, water play, and sunbathing

• All-weather walks and cozy indoor playtime — no off-leash outings or dog park visits for safety

  Health & Special Needs Care

• Pet First Aid certified

• Experience administering medication for both dogs and cats

• Comfortable working with: elderly dogs, dogs with physical limitations/disabilities, dogs with anxiety or reactivity on walks

• Not a certified trainer, but I bring basic training experience from previous animal care roles

• Happy to accommodate special needs whenever possible!
